Terms of Service

Who we are
Crossly is a trading name of Ryan Jamieson, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. Address: 1 Ladygate, Haverhill, Suffolk, CB9 8NA, United Kingdom. Email: support@crossly.co.uk. We aim to reply within 2 working days.
In these terms "we", "us" and "Crossly" mean Ryan Jamieson trading as Crossly, and "you" means the person or business subscribing.
The service
Crossly is a browser extension for Google Chrome and other Chromium browsers. It helps you create listings once and post them to online marketplaces, keep track of where each item is listed, remove listings when an item sells, and keep records of sales, costs and expenses.
Crossly works in your own browser, using the marketplace accounts you're signed in to. You are responsible for your listings and your marketplace accounts: what you sell, that your listings are accurate, and that you follow each marketplace's own rules. Check listings before publishing them, especially on marketplaces marked "beta".
Crossly isn't affiliated with or endorsed by eBay, Vinted, Depop or any other marketplace. Marketplaces change their websites, which can stop a feature working until we update it.
The Expenses & tax page is a record-keeping aid, not tax, legal or financial advice.
Subscription and payment
- Crossly costs £20 a month. Payments are taken by Stripe and renew automatically until you cancel.
- New subscribers get a 14-day free trial. You give card details at the start but aren't charged until the trial ends. We'll email you before it ends. If you cancel before the end of the trial, you won't be charged at all. Free trials are limited to one per person.
- You can cancel at any time from your account page (Manage subscription). You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
- We'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email before changing the price.
- If a payment fails, Stripe will retry it. If it still can't be taken, your subscription ends and Crossly stops posting new listings until you subscribe again.
Your right to cancel
As a UK consumer you normally have 14 days to cancel a digital service. The free trial covers that period: cancel during it and you pay nothing. When your first payment is taken after the trial, you have agreed at checkout that the service continues straight away, so that payment isn't refundable. This doesn't affect your other legal rights, including if the service is faulty.
Your account
A subscription is for one person or one business's own selling. It can be connected in up to three browsers at once. We may suspend accounts that are shared, resold or misused, including use that breaks a marketplace's rules or the law.
Your data
Your items, photos, sales and expenses are kept in your browser, not on our servers. You can export a backup from Settings at any time; we can't recover data that is lost from your browser. See our Privacy Policy.
Availability
We aim to keep Crossly working and up to date but can't guarantee it will always be available, work with every marketplace, or be error free.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law. We aren't responsible for losses caused by a marketplace's own actions (such as removing a listing or restricting an account), by listings you published, or by things outside our reasonable control. Otherwise our total liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid in the previous 12 months.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change affects you materially, we'll tell you by email at least 30 days before it applies.
Complaints
If something isn't right, email support@crossly.co.uk and we'll try to sort it out. If we can't, you can contact Citizens Advice for free advice on your rights.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts, and you keep any rights your local law gives you.
